Winston Seegobin, Psy.D.

Winston Seegobin, PsyD, is Director of Diversity and Professor of Clinical Psychology in the doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at George Fox University. Before going to George Fox, he was a professor at Messiah College in Pennsylvania for 13 years. Winston has a BTh from Jamaica Theological Seminary, a BA in Psychology from Bethel College (Indiana), a MA in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College, and a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Central Michigan University. He is a licensed psychologist in Oregon where he has a private practice (Seegobin Psychological Services) as well as do clinical work at Mid Valley Counseling Center. His research interests include children’s spirituality, multicultural psychotherapy, religion and racial prejudice, integration of psychology and Christianity, and the relationship of hope, resilience, and faith. Originally from the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean, he, his wife and their two sons live in Newberg, Oregon.
