MEMBERSHIPS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

Involvement with CAPS can be through active membership in the association, or through an active subscription to the Journal of Psychology and Christianity.

Association members receive benefits of membership in accordance with their membership type, as outlined below. Subscription holders receive only an annual subscription to the Journal of Psychology and Christianity.

MEMBERSHIP TYPES

Regular Membership
Regular Membership is open to those who have earned an accredited degree and/or professional certification in a behavioral science field; or an accredited M.Div. degree or its equivalent, with interests and current ministry in accord with the purposes of CAPS. Regular Members receive all of the benefits of membership, and may vote and hold elected office in CAPS.

Associate Membership
Associate Membership is open to those who are primarily engaged in a career in accord with the purposes of CAPS; or those with an active interest or ministry compatible with CAPS, but unable to meet the requirements of Regular Membership. Associate Members receive all of the benefits of membership, but are not able to vote or hold elected office in CAPS.

Spousal Membership
Spousal membership is available to the spouse of a full dues-paying Regular Member who qualifies for Regular Membership in his/her own right. Spousal Members receive all of the benefits of membership, and are able to vote and hold elected office in CAPS, but only one copy of the Journal of Psychology and Christianity, and any other print material, is mailed to the family unit.

Student Membership
Student membership is open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students pursuing training in accord with the purposes of CAPS. Student Members receive all of the benefits of membership, but are not allowed to vote or hold office in CAPS, and must submit formal attestation of their status as a full-time graduate or undergraduate student.

SUBSCRIPTION TYPES

CAPS offers two types of subscription services.

Individual Subscription
An Individual Subscription entitles a person to receive a calendar year subscription to the Journal of Psychology and Christianity (four issues). If an Individual Subscriber begins their subscription mid-year, they still receive all four issues of the Journal released that year.

Library Subscription
A Library Subscription is typically held by an institutional subscriber. A Library Subscriber receives a calendar year subscription to the Journal of Psychology and Christianity, plus subscription support traditionally afforded institutional subscribers.
