The challenge: how can a Christian adopt a model of supervision that addresses the need for empirical rigor and sound theology without assaulting supervisees’ diverse theoretical foundations? The presenter, after years of reviewing supervision literature, examining and refining supervisory tools for assessment of supervisees and provision of feedback to supervisees, theories about the bases of change, and the goals of Christian supervision , has developed a robust transtheoretical model.
