Regional Board of Representatives (BOR)
The mission of the Regional Board of Representatives (BOR) is to further communication, association, and professional activity between Christians in the region who are engaged in occupations and activities involving the behavioral sciences.
Responsibilities include:
- Implement CAPS’ mission on regional/local level
- Facilitate regional/local educational opportunities (with CE)
- Promote regional/local opportunities for fellowship, networking, consulting, mentoring, and/or referrals
- Provide a sense of connectedness to CAPS regional members through up-to-date web, emails, and/or print communication
- Local and university (student) chapter development
- Membership recruitment (at events)
Composition:
- Regional Director
- 2 Representatives to CAPS International
- 4 (or more) Additional Members of the Region
Meetings:
- At least two regular meetings are recommended each year.
- Business and/or discussion may be transacted via email without formally calling a meeting.
- The Regional Director prepares the agenda, conducts the meeting, and serves as an ex-officio member of all committees of the BOR.
